SHY

SHY

Having moved from Dubai, Shy now spends her days cracking ideas and making ads in fickle-but-sunny Melbourne as an Associate Creative Director. A writer’s writer, she does slam poetry, stand-up comedy and is currently working on her first poetry anthology. She is the producer and host of Funny For Comedy, and will be at Adelaide Fringe and Melbourne Comedy Festival this year. She will also be competing at the Australian Poetry Slam nationals after taking home first place at Slama-lama and Slam-O-Vision 2023.

As a runner-up at the Young Cannes Lions Middle East and a Cannes Lions Silver winner, Shy has honed her craft at agencies like Thinkerbell and Ogilvy, working with brands such as Coca-Cola, Mondelez, Samsung, BUPA and heaps more.

Currently, Shy is on a mission to use her creativity for her activism, when she’s not making cool ads. She has been featured on panels by The Mavens and Women Of Colour Gathering as well as interviewed on Mumbrella, Campaign Brief, Entrepreneur Magazine and Mavens Mag Vol 2.

SEAMUS

SEAMUS

Seamus learnt early that 50% of people will say his name “Sea-miss” rather than its quite obvious Galiec pronunciation of “Shamus”. This rather early problem made him realise problem-solving was his calling, so he started a degree in Biological Science. He soon discovered that labs, as advertised, tend to be boring so he decided to put his problem-solving skills to use visually with graphic design.

Once in the industry, he underwent the metamorphosis from Designer to Art Director and is now an Associate Creative Director, having collected a range of skills in each role working across KFC and Dan Murphy’s, CUB, Lion, Coca-Cola and BMW to namedrop a few. And along the way, he even picked up a Masters in Digital Media. Yes, his Indian mum is proud. Thanks for asking.

Seamus is a romantic who genuinely believes that creativity can change the world (whether that is in advertising or not is up for debate).
